Welcome to Visit Omo Valley Tour

These Terms of Service govern your use of our car rental services and website. By accessing our website or renting a vehicle from us, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

Visit Omo Valley Tour is committed to providing safe, reliable, and high-quality car rental services throughout Ethiopia. Our terms are designed to protect both our customers and our business while ensuring a transparent and fair rental experience.

1. Rental Agreement

  • By renting a vehicle from Visit Omo Valley Tour, you agree to enter into a legally binding rental agreement.
  • The primary driver must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license held for minimum 2 years.
  • All additional drivers must be registered and meet the same age and license requirements.
  • The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as received, normal wear and tear excepted.

2. Payment Terms

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
  • We accept major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) and bank transfers.
  • Prices are quoted in USD and include all applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • A security deposit will be pre-authorized on your credit card at vehicle pick-up.

3. Cancellation Policy

  • Free cancellation up to 48 hours before pick-up time.
  • Cancellations within 48 hours: 50% of total amount will be charged.
  • No-shows: Full amount will be charged.
  • Early returns are subject to the full rental period charges.

4. Insurance and Protection

  • All rentals include basic third-party liability insurance.
  • Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is included with a deductible amount.
  • Additional insurance options are available at the time of booking.
  • Personal accident insurance is recommended for all renters.

5. Driver Responsibilities

  • Drivers are responsible for all traffic violations, tolls, and parking fines during the rental period.
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited in all vehicles (penalty applies).
  • Pets are only allowed in designated pet-friendly vehicles.
  • The vehicle must not be used for illegal activities, racing, or off-road driving.

6. Fuel Policy

  • Vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel.
  • Vehicles must be returned with a full tank, or refueling charges will apply.
  • Refueling service charges include cost of fuel plus a service fee.
  • Pre-purchase fuel options are available at discounted rates.

Important Additional Terms

Geographic Restrictions

Vehicles must not be driven outside Ethiopia without prior written authorization. Off-road driving is prohibited unless the vehicle is specifically equipped for it.

Accidents and Breakdowns

In case of accident or breakdown, contact our 24/7 emergency service immediately. Do not authorize repairs without our consent.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ethiopia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
